World Health Organization (WHO)
The World Health Organization (WHO) has developed many standards and best practices, 2 of which are designed to focus on pharmaceutical practices namely
Good Distribution Practices (GDP)
Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
Both standards are much like an extension to ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System but, emphasize on pharmaceutical practices in the distribution or manufacturing of pharmaceutical products.
Adopting the standards is useful for any type of organization that is involved with either one of the two processes at any point within the supply chain, this includes:
Warehousing
Storage
Transport
Distribution
Packing
Manufacturing
Inspections
Handling
EAMD INTERNATIONAL can consult in any of the two WHO practices to ensure your organization meets the neccessary requirements.
